This is a work space inside a factory, based in one of the industrial areas of Rajkot.

The Client wanted to revamp and expand the existing work space. Apart from the Client’s executive cabin, other areas included additional work cabin, dedicated work space for the accounts team, reception desk with waiting area and pantry. There are also two restricted access points from where this office staff can go to the shop floor of the factory.

The material pallette comprises of two timeless materials – polished wood and exposed concrete finish. AS these material finishes are raw yet elegant, they struck a cord with the Client as he did not want the office to be appear as the complete opposite of the factory shop floor.

Equally placed horizontal wooden strips run along the vertical surfaces, bringing a sense of order to the space.

All doors are also integrated within this system of continuous horizontal wooden strips.
